The digestive system, which is made up of multiple organs, plays an essential role in maintaining life such as digestion and absorption of food, storage within the body, synchronization of important bio-activity substances, detoxification, and excretion. The Digestive System Center is in charge of specialized diagnosis and treatment of various digestive system disorders. Esophagus diseases include reflux esophagitis, esophageal disorders, and esophageal cancer. There are also gastro-intestinal tract diseases such as gastro-intestinal diseases, stomach & duodenum ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, stomach cancer and colon cancer. Lung diseases include fatty liver, acute/chronic hepatitis, alcoholic liver disease, liver cirrhosis, and liver cancer, and there are other diseases such as cholelithiasis, cholecystits, acute/chronic pancreatitis, gallbladder cancer, and pancreatic cancer. Of the five most common cancers among Koreans, three (gastric, colon, liver) are in the digestive system, and the goal of treatment is to find and completely heal all of the malicious tumors in advance that occur in the digestive system.
